i've been meaning to tell you all about this... i've just been busy this week.....

I BOUGHT MY OWN CAR!!!!!!!!!!

yep. jasons brother sold me his 95 chevy cavalier. yeah, its normally a wussy chic car... but he pimped it out. its got a cd player ad a pretty nice stereo, custom built engine that gets 32 miles to the gallon, new transmission, AND its been up to 132.5 miles per hour (as clocked by the drag racer behind him)... hehehe... i LOVE it!

AND... while i was at johns waiting to take care of the paperwork, my boss called to tell me i got a promotion! woohoo! i am an assistant manager! (in training)

life is good.

so i mentioned getting baptized in my last post and its coming up quicker than i thought. i wanted to invite you all to come if you are available. it will be at camp mack in milford on saturday august 4th. there will be a picnic lunch at noon, followed by games and fellowship. around 3 there will be a time for worship and baptism. we should be finished around 4. this is a big thing for me and i would love for any of you who are available to join me in the celebration. if you are interested and need directions, let me know. i hope to see you there!

i dont feel much like updating.. but i will anyway...

family dollar is going well... i may be geting a secretarial job soon somewhere in goshen or elkhart. i put in an application at a temping service and theyre supposed to find me something. i hope they do... id love to be a secretary.

ive been searching for a car for a while now.... found a nice little red  dodge intrepid down the road for 1400, but dads worried about a transmission problem. i still want it... its cute and fun to drive. but i'm looking around before i make a decision. we shall see.

i wont be going back to bethel in the fall... i lost a scholarship and dont have the money to return. i may look into iusb or ivy tech or something, but i'm still not sure what i want to study.... so its kind of pointless right now.

elizabeth got her violin today... she wants to be just like her big sissy. shell be starting middle shool and playing in the orchestra in the fall. i just hope she sees it through a little further than i did. shes growing into quite the little lady.

jason and i are doing well... nothing new there.

i'm getting baptized next month in a lake at camp mac. im pretty excited. and i got myself a new mentor... shes the pastors wife at wcbc. shes an amazing woman.

thats all for now. pretty boring life. but i cant complain.

 i'm back! thats right.... 2 days in a row!

i had a dentist appointment this morning.... another one. i have bad teeth. i've been going in every chance i get these last few months to get all of my fillings done. i got 2 more finished this morning. next month i go in to finish them up. then its pulling wisdom teeth and a root canal.... fun fun.

i got to work today just as the numbing went away in my mouth. my jaw hurt so bad. and then for some reason i got really dizzy and nauseous and i got a bad headache so my boss sent me home early. i came home and slept for 5 hours. so i only worked about 3. i think the nauseousness was more from my manager and customers blowing their nasty rotten ash tray breath in my face for the few hours i was there. oh well. so now i just have to go in earlier tomorrow.

i have a job interview tomorrow morning. autozone in nappanee wants me. i got a call from the laundromat there too but i still have to call and make an appointment. im torn because i really like family dollar... the people are nice... but if i can get a full time job with more pay, i need it. BUT family dollar is willing to work around my school schedule (if i go back) AND they want to make me an assistant manager... which looks good on future applications. any adivice?

its been forever since ive posted. i apologize. since leaving bethel and saying goodbye to wireless high speed internet i havent been online nearly as much. so.... where to begin...

i have a job. ive been working at family dollar in the good town of bremen for about 3 weeks. i like it. we sell more ash trays and lighters than anything else in the store, and i pretty much have to learn spanish to be able to communicate with the customers... but its cool. im making a little money at least. for now its only a part time, 6 bucks an hour deal, but after being there for 2 weeks my manager offered me an assistant manager job. so we'll see where that goes. im still kinda looking for something else... something with a little higher pay and more regular hours. havent found anything yet.

jason and i are doing very well. the 15th of june will be our 1 year anniversary. its been an incredible (and tough) year, but well worth it. he is so good to me and i love him very much. we're taking a group of kids from wawasee to the pro life music festival in a few weeks and im really looking forward to it. its my first outing with the youth as an "official sponsor". we'll be camping for a few days and rockin out to some pretty sweet music.  it should be fun.

nothin else has really been going on... i finally got my license just over a month ago. so its been nice having that freedom. and im still deciding whether or not to return to bethel in the fall. im just not sure what i want yet. its been nice just having a job and earning some money... as opposed to putting myself in thousands of dollars of debt each semester. i guess ill just have to keep praying about it and see what direction God leads...
